MUSE: ANASTASIA SOURIS
Digital marketing strategist, lifestyle blogger & influencer, Anastasia Souris welcomed us into her home where we spilled her bag contents, got dressed, discussed her creative process and more.
Anastasia Souris is a digital marketing strategist and lifestyle blogger of Grecian descent, known for her relatable approach to personal style and her signature Instagram series: “The Denim Edit.” Drawing on her marketing background, Anastasia has collaborated with notable brands including Victoria’s Secret, Steve Madden, Michael Kors, and BCBG. Originally from Cleveland, she studied Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Business before moving to Los Angeles two years ago with her now-fiancé. Prior to relocating and becoming a full-time content creator, she founded Savo Social, a marketing agency specializing in social media management and brand development. Her journey as an influencer took a pivotal turn earlier this year when she fully committed to content creation and building her online community. Since then, her content has evolved from traditionally curated to a more organic, and spontaneous tone, highlighting everyday moments that showcase her personality. When she’s not getting dressed for a night out with her fiancé, you’ll likely find her at her favorite Pilates class strengthening her core or in the kitchen recreating her family’s traditional Greek recipes.

LPR: How did posting on social media come about?
AS: I have been posting on social media for a long time, mostly as an outlet for myself to scratch the fashion and styling itch because I was no longer in that world career-wise. So sharing and posting have not been new for me, but I think more recently, my closet "get ready with me" videos have opened me up to a new audience, which has been so much fun!
LPR: You recently started a new series called “The Denim Edit.” Do you have any hot tips on choosing the perfect jeans?
AS: Don't be afraid to get in there and try them all on! Denim so personal. Everyone looks and feels good in different cuts, so it comes down to finding the cut you like the most. For me, it is always a classic 501 straight fit denim. I just gravitate towards that style, so it makes shopping for jeans much easier!
And my last tip: vintage is always superior.
LPR: Was there a specific moment when you realized your content was resonating with people?
AS: I think it was last spring/beginning of summer my chatty closet videos started to really pick up. They happened so organically, I filmed one and thought “ok whatever I’m just going to post it” and then one after another started to take off. To be completely honest, it was such an overwhelming feeling because that content was as authentic as it got. It was nice to connect with girls in a way that felt so natural and organic to me.
LPR: What advice can you give us in terms of navigating brand partnerships?
AS: Do your best to really stay true to you. It's ok to leave things behind if they don't make sense for you or your style. I've had to learn this myself in time, and I think it's a valuable lesson I've taken with me.
LPR: What does your content creation process look like? Do you plan out your content or create as you go?
AS: A little bit of both! The majority of my "get ready" closet videos are truly in the moment and a reflection of what I am doing that day. I’ve found a groove that really works well for me without burning me out. I’m going to have to get dressed for these events or for the day no matter what, so it has been fun to authentically take you guys with me in my chaotic getting ready process.
That said, there is an element of planning when it comes to campaigns, or if I know I have a big event coming up, I’ll make sure to prep or really narrow down what I am going to do for that ahead of time.
LPR: What are some challenging moments you’ve had in your career and how did you handle them?
AS: In my early twenties, I really struggled to find my place career wise. I knew I needed a creative outlet and always had this pull to work for myself, but it took time- and a lot of self-doubt- to build the confidence to actually do it. I still remember the moment I decided to bet on myself and start SAVO Social. It was equal parts terrifying and exhilarating. Looking back, those frustrating years in corporate jobs were essential. They taught me so much about what I didn’t want- and helped shape the direction I eventually took.
So when it came time to take another leap and go full-time with content creation this year, I thought back to those years of hesitation. This time, it felt really full circle. The fear wasn’t there- just a quiet confidence and excitement to see where it could go.
LPR: What is something you wish people knew about you?
AS: Probably that I am incredibly goofy, and do not take myself too seriously.
LPR: Where does your confidence come from?
AS: I think my parents did a great job of instilling a charmingly delusional level of confidence in all of us (my siblings and I) and it’s carried through in my life. I’m just really comfortable with who I am and where I’m going, and it’s a really great place to be. I would 100% say I become more confident the older I get, which has been a refreshing part of entering my thirties.
LPR: What is one thing that you must always carry with you in your bag?
AS: Altoids at all times
LPR: Who is your muse or artistic influence?
AS: My forever muse is Jane Birkin. I have always been enchanted by her ability to be so perfectly and effortlessly undone. She managed to find a way to put together the perfect look at all times with classic silhouettes while still having a laid-back essence to her. She’s the coolest of all time.
